When You Visit Us
We want you to feel at home from the moment you walk through our doors. Here’s what you can expect:
· Excellent Parking—The parking lot off Norwich Street is just outside the main entrance and includes handicap-accessible spots near the door.
· A Warm Personal Greeting—Pastors Peter Hey and
· Finding Your Way—The sanctuary is straight ahead. If you are looking for the child care room or the Sunday School rooms, our pastors or greeters will be glad to direct you.
· Child Friendly—The nursery room is well-staffed to care for children from newborn through age 6. Children are also welcomed in worship in the sanctuary, and activity clipboards with crayons are provided. The choice is entirely yours.
· Staying Informed—Our main lobby contains brochures with current ministry materials and information on upcoming events.
· A Comfortable Environment for Worship and Learning—You’ll find an atmosphere that is warm and welcoming. People come dressed in khakis and sports shirts, jeans and sneakers, coats and ties, skirts or pants, and shorts in summer.
· A Weekly Bulletin—Ample directions will guide you through the service step-by-step.
· Open Communion - Communion is open to all and is served on the first Sunday of the month at the morning services and at every evening (Rejuvenation) service.
· A Cup of Coffee and Munchies—Following the service, snacks, coffee, and juice are served in Hanna Hall. The playground outside beckons the kids.
· Friendly Follow-up—If you provide your name and address in the pew register, you will receive a follow-up contact from a pastor or member of Wesley—and invitation to join us again!
